Silverstone Experience Choice

Thanks for your feedback on the helmet as well - we will pass this onto the supplier at the venue to make them aware, because you are well within the maximum height for this experience so there should have been a helmet to fit your head properly.

Hi Gary, we are just getting in touch regarding your feedback you left us earlier in the week on the Silverstone Experience Choice. We have subsequently spoken to the suppliers at the venue for this experience regarding the issues you experienced with the helmet, and they have advised us that they have a selection of helmet sizes ranging from XS to 2XL available on the day. Each experience is assigned a rack of helmets and they usually run in groups no bigger than six, and they are sure a larger helmet would have been available. It is the decision of their instructors to choose and fit helmets to each customer, ensuring that they fit safely for going out on track. They are unaware if you raised any concerns about helmet size with the instructor before going out on track. If you did not, then it is advisable in future that you raise this with the instructor on the day, for both your safety and theirs. Kind regards, The TrackDays Team.
