The wool has been double scoured so it is extremely clean, even after the double scouring there can sometimes be small bits of 'vegetable matter' amongst the wool fibres so the wool is then checked again and any small bits of 'VM' are picked out by hand.
These pillows have the lowest VM count of any similar product on the market. The double scouring also removes much of the lanolin content so minimising any 'sheepy' odour.
