We are so pleased the British 100% Wool Pillow - Medium Fill was the perfect choice for you and that you would recommend it. The wool is carded (Carding is a mechanical process that disentangles, cleans, and intermixes fibres to produce a continuous web). Once carded, the wool is just a few mm thick, so it is then cross-folded (layered) to achieve the required weight. a soft pillow may have approximately 20 layers, while a firm pillow will have 100-120 layers of carded wool. We advise that before making a purchase, to consider your wool pillow's firmness. We offer three different types of filling - low, medium, and firm filling, giving you a chance to choose a wool pillow that is hopefully perfect for your comfort. Side sleepers usually benefit from a firmer pillow, back sleepers tend to choose medium wool-filled pillows, and stomach sleepers pick soft pillows to keep the head and neck at a comfortable angle.
