We're sorry to hear you were unhappy with the service. The scanning was completed to the agreed 300 DPI specification. At your request, we also carried out additional enhancements, such as tidying imperfections on the images, at no extra cost. We understand your requirements later changed to 600 DPI following feedback from your publisher, which would have required a full re-scan outside the original scope. While we apologise for any delays in delivering the final output, we believe the work was completed fairly and in line with the agreed requirements. Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for your reply. We're sorry that you're dissatisfied with the service and understand your frustration. The initial scans were produced to the agreed 300 DPI specification, which is a commonly used standard and suitable for general document digitisation. We appreciate that the initial visual quality wasn’t to the standard you were expecting for print publication. Once this was raised, we carried out additional enhancements to improve the appearance of the images and remove imperfections, even where these were present on the original pages. We acknowledge that there were delays and miscommunications along the way, and we regret that the experience fell short of your expectations. Your feedback has been noted and will be taken into account as we continue to review and improve our processes.
