Firstly, we are very sorry to read that you are unhappy with your Ram carbon filter stand. Your filter stand should have been constructed of a good quality, white powder coated steel box tubing, but please do let us know if your was any different to this. In regards to the size of filter/equipment that this stand can be used in conjunction with I have to politely state that the min opening width of 600mm is stated in the text of the product "Min-Max width: 600mm-900mm" but we have now added additional information in the product text to hopefully avoid customers missing the original stated text. The Ram filter stand can be used for filters smaller than 600mm in length, but some staging poles will be required to bridge the gap. Kind regards from Lee and all at Somerset Hydroponics Ltd.
