We are committed to the safety and quality of our products and whilst we have been selling this particular chew for many years with no issues, we will be reviewing the product description on an ongoing basis. When designing an oral motor chew there has to be a balance between strength, comfort and chewability - it should be pleasant to chew whilst at the same time being strong enough for the needs of the user. All users have different requirements and some have found this particular chew to be too hard. We are always happy to advise customers on choosing the correct chew. All of our chews are made from a non toxic medical grade composite but making an indestructible chew is impossible, hence we advise that chews are used under supervision at all times and are checked regularly for signs of wear.
