We are sorry you were disappointed however and not sure why you could not sit together on the bus. We don’t usually allocate seat numbers on our tours like in an aircraft as people do sometimes like to swap around and change seats and if people are unable to sit with family, usually people will move if asked. I am sorry this didn’t work out for you.
The tour does cover over 350 kilometres in the day plus 220 kilometres on the mainland plus the ferry trip of 16 kilometres so it is quite long day with lots of travel to get to places.
We do try to encourage people to take our two day tour at least as there is so much to see and do on Kangaroo Island but unfortunately many visitors to South Australia only allow themselves one day to see Australia’s third largest island.
We also do highly recommend self drive holidays for those who don’t mind driving their own car or picking up a hire car. This allows a lot more flexibility and you can travel around at your own pace.
So as you can see there are many options for travel to Kangaroo Island and we are sorry that maybe the one day tour was not quite what you expected it would be.
