goods came within 2 days of ordering excellent tried a few times to order conquer paper and principal EF nibs both out of stock not good

Apologies for the nibs were out of stock. There has been manufacturing issues with the nib which meant the supplier could not get further supplies for over 2 weeks. Walker's Ink is an iron gall ink, which is chemically based rather than pigment based. It differs from other calligraphic inks and darkens as the ink oxidises on the page over a period of time. The only explanation I can offer for the paint on the pen holder to crack and peel is this can happen if the holder has got wet and the wood expanded
