In other words - Good and 3 stars, which is what I would agree with for this quirky castle. Thank you also for your email - and these reviews are public for everyone to base their opinions before booking and we are judged accordingly. How Visit Scotland grade a property is another matter, but I appreciate each person will have their own views, and like you, I would go slightly lower at the 3 stars. For those booking the bunkroom as extra, we can let them know in advance the sheets and bedding are provided on a self-make basis. Likewise we will be recomending new towels - though I will have to double-check this has not already happened, as your stay was back in June 2013. I will also now check some wording on the site to ensure that expectations are met. Thank you for your review.
