Many thanks for your comments, any feedback is considered invaluable to enable us to improve our services were possible. Sorry you missed the due date for the security deposit which was noted on the booking confirmation initially. We are currently working on updating our payment system so that customers can pay for both the final balance and security deposit in one amount if they wish, which we hope to have in place shortly for future bookings.

Since we live in the U.S., we found the staff to be very responsive to our emails. All went smoothly in booking and paying for the property as well as receiving the returning of our security deposit.

We agree, the owners have provided lots of entertainment and extra touches to make the stay special. Lovely to hear you found the cosy drawing room a quiet retreat during the stay :) The house is very comfortable and well equipped, the garden is also perfect for your four legged friends to join you on holiday!

Great that you all enjoyed the castle experience and I’m sure you have lots of lovely memories from the trip. When guests would like to book a property, our arrangement with all of our property owners is that dates are placed on a provisional hold usually for 3 days however had we known your committee would need a little longer to finalise plans and arrange the deposit funds then we would have been very happy to reach an agreement with the owners of the castle on your behalf. Glad that we were able to re secure the dates for you.
