I also wanted to put your mind at ease regarding the wood that your gate is made from, the rough sawn finish does not pose any detriment to its integrity as described in the listing: "Timber Finish- Rough Sawn Timber Treatment- Green Pressure Treatment Premium featheredge Curved Top Handmade by our carpentry team here in Devon. Made using pressure treated featheredge boards. All material is green pressure treated, increasing the lifetime of the gate!" I hope this helps and thank you so much again for your review.
