Thank you very much for your feedback regarding your recent holiday to Warners Cricket St Thomas. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the location of your room. As noted on both your booking confirmation and our website, room allocations at Cricket St Thomas are within the Walled Garden, which requires a short walk outdoors between the bedrooms and the restaurant and entertainment facilities. I am also sorry that you felt the journey times for the day trips were excessive. Cricket St Thomas Hotel is situated in a rural part of Somerset; however, we do aim to limit all excursions to a maximum of one hour’s travel time from the hotel. We are continually reviewing and developing our itineraries, and I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visits to Sidmouth, Dorchester, and Stourhead. For any future holidays, you are of course welcome to remain at the hotel and make full use of the facilities should you prefer not to join the excursions. Thank you for bringing the cleanliness of the seat tables to our attention. This is not the standard we expect, and these should have been cleaned and checked prior to departure. I will be following this up with our cleaning team to ensure this is addressed.
