Thanks for taking the time to review your policy and raise an important point. We sell excess reimbursement insurance that covers damage to the vehicle caused by our policy-holders. Our definition of damage is:
Physical damage to or loss of the Rental Vehicle caused by fire, vandalism, Accident, theft and attempted theft.
We do not cover breakdown or mechanical failure as our expectation is that the rental company ensures they provide our policy-holder with a roadworthy, serviceable vehicle.
To put this in context, you wouldn't call your car insurance company to repair your own car if your clutch failed, you'd call your breakdown company.
We are clear on what our policy covers and what it doesn't, and rating our service as poor is not a true reflection of the service we offer and provide based on your comment.
