Didn't have to use the service thankfully but it was piece of mind that you have it in place and so much cheaper than the insurance the car hire companies offer

Easy and good value
Purchasing the excess cover was easy and it looked good value to cover what was a €2500 excess on my car hire insurance. Luckily I didn't have an accident so can't comment on how it would have worked
