We are sorry to hear your claim was declined and we understand the claims team have been in contact with you to confirm the reasons for the declinature. As with all cycle insurance policies, in the event of a claim a claimant is required to provide proof of purchase of the bike and any approved accessories such as the bike lock. This is clearly stated in the policy terms and conditions under the Claims Condition section on page 5 as follows: You must provide upon request proof of ownership and proof of purchase in the event of a claim. Sorry we were not able to support your claim on this occasion and if you require any further assistance please contact our customer service department on customer@wedinsure.co.uk.

The essential points here are that I received an email confirming I was insured - which you now seem to say I was not if I did not have receipts, and also that you disbelieve me - I feel I’ve been robbed twice- once by the thieves and once by my insurers.
