far too expensive for postage. Although the item was sent fast, I did not require a fast delivery and had to pay twice as much for the part I ordered.

thank you for your feedback, Im sorry you felt you paid too much for shipping. We only send orders out with a courier, many times we are asked to 'put something in the post' for someone but through years of experience we have learnt that their service is not reliable enough to use. So our first shipping band covers orders with a weight from 0-20kg, the single item you ordered fell in this band. We never hide our delivery charges they are displayed to you before you commit to buy and every brochure page on our website has a link to shipping information.
