Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I'm sorry the product wasn’t suitable for your setup. The solar ioniser is designed specifically for controlling blanketweed through the release of copper ions, and the product listing does state that it is “not recommended for fish ponds unless monitored carefully” and “not safe for sturgeon”.
