Hi M, We apologize for the disruption caused by the instructor in your lessons with us. We have spoken with your instructor, who is surprised by your review as he says your wife was very understanding and didn't want extra time when it was offered. Although he felt fine initially, he suddenly became ill during the lesson and had to take two breaks to go to the bathroom, which used up 10 minutes of the lesson time. According to the instructor, he communicated effectively with your wife, and she seemed satisfied with the lesson. During the second lesson, your wife made good progress at Gampen, and together, they decided to try Hoppelweg. Although she was nervous, she managed to ski down successfully, and we believe that your review doesn't reflect the progress made in the lesson. Dear Sarah, Thank you for your 4-star rating of your children's ski lessons. We're happy to hear that our team was friendly and welcoming, which helped your kids have a good time. They should be so proud of the progress they have made. It's worth noting that since your last holiday, we have changed our children’s curriculum and have made it much clearer on how to progress. We require kids to achieve far more at each level, so it’s not uncommon for children to stay in the same level group for a longer time. This doesn’t mean that your children haven’t progressed, it just means we’ve adjusted our criteria. We will make sure this is clearer across all of our communication channels. Hi E, Thank you for booking your ski lessons with us. We're glad you found the booking process straightforward and could easily find all the necessary information. However, we apologize for the incorrect date on the WhatsApp message. As the messages are automated, sometimes errors can occur, and we're sorry for any confusion this may have caused. We chatted with your instructor, and he mentioned your initial goal to work on mogul technique and ski the Swiss Wall. However, after assessing your technique, he decided it would be too challenging to ski the Swiss Wall and together, the plan was changed. We're sorry you were disappointed by this decision. He said he did ski ahead of you to assess your skiing and provide individual feedback. However, he had difficulty watching you since you didn't leave a gap between you and him. It seems this was lost in communication. Learning a new technique takes time, and our instructors always space out the drills and feedback to give you time to practice and solidify your learnings. Otherwise, it can be overwhelming to receive new advice when you've not practised the previous skill. As the slopes were quite choppy, it was an ideal opportunity to learn how to navigate bumpy terrain, which was one of your initial goals for the lesson. Your instructor did a few jumps at the side of the piste, but only on occasion. He explained that it was to inspire you and to add some personality to his skiing. We're sorry if you found this off-putting. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we appreciate you sharing it with us. We're sorry you didn't receive the typical New Generation experience you expected.
