We have tried a few times to contact you. In the meantime we thought it would be good to post a response to your feedback. Thank you for sending a more detailed account by direct email. There is no quick response to your comments. Your lessons involved other clients being late, a serious accident (not related to the lesson) and a slight injury to yourself. We believe things were compounded by half the group wanting to finish at the top of the mountain and half at the bottom. Our whole Vald'Isere team have sat down and talked through your experience and your feedback and all of them understand your frustrations. The instructor has taken on-board your comments and sees them as constructive and is keen to learn and avoid feedback like this in the future. Thank you for spending time to help us improve. Thank you for giving the feedback. I would like to take this opportunity to explain our approach to coaching. We do teach in a certain way. We believe in coaching not instruction so our lessons will not be spent with the coach simply giving information. We like to use guided practice aiming to develop a change in your skiing by helping you to understand how this change is implemented. We are sorry that we have lost you as a client. If you do come back to us then we will offer you a private lesson which is 30 Euros cheaper than the price as we are gutted that you see New Generation in a bad light. Please can I add that we only employ completely qualified ski coaches who can teach in the way described. This is the main reason why we are slightly more expensive than some of the other ski schools who employ trainees (stagieres) at lower rates. Matthew Cooke (Sales and Marketing Manager)
