Hi. Great place and location. But important to note that we were told to bring all bedding, which is fine. However, we were not told to bring crockery. Only 4 plates, no bowls, only 3 mugs....

Lovely place to stay in the Lakes. Good access to the hills. Keswick is close by to get anything you need. Nice it not have any signal, just sitting and chatting round the table with the fire on....

1. The bathroom smells of the septic tank & there was a rag stuffed into a hole where the sink drain goes. This should be sealed better.

Superb location. Much less equipment at bothy now. Small hole at bottom of front door needs properly addressing before it bcomes a major rodent issue.
