Good afternoon Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry about the road noise. Lodge cottages are traditionally next to the road which does mean there will be more traffic than elsewhere on the estate. Ticknall Lodge will become a dog free cottage from the end of January 2025 as we are unable to secure the garden. Kind regards National Trust Holidays

Good morning Thank you for your review. Lodges do tend to be on the side of the road so may be noisier than a cottage in the centre of an estate. We're sorry to read of the ant infestation.
