The design of this smart hand-decorated earthenware light pull is inspired by late-19th century Florian Ware, a term coined by English potter and designer William Moorcroft. In 1898, Moorcroft launched a ceramic range with flowing tube line decoration stylistically influenced by the illustrious Art Nouveau movement. Attesting to the skill behind such pottery, many of Moorcroft's techniques were closely guarded trade secrets within the industry.
