A pocket-friendly notebook with co-ordinating pen, decorated in a rich, plum colourway of William Morris’s (1834-96) much-loved ‘Fruit’ design, otherwise known as ‘Pomegranate’, from 1864 and one of the first wallpaper designs created for Morris and Co. With eye-catching gold foil details decorating the front cover, the design mingles ripening oranges, lemons, peaches and pomegranates with pretty blossom and delicate leaves. With rounded corners, the useful notebook won’t tear pockets or handbag linings. The chunky, lay-flat binding is also easy to use when out and about. With lined pages throughout and an elastic loop to hold the co-ordinating pen, the pen and notebook are presented in a smart box. A handsome gift idea or, equally, an inspiring home for your own jottings.
