Countdown the days of Advent with a delightful pillar candle, decorated with festooned garlands of holly, ivy, mistletoe and robins. This traditional Holly & Ivy Robin Advent Candle has been finished with 24 markings and charming illustrations by contemporary British artist Alison Gardiner. The much-loved carol ?The Holly and the Ivy? is thought to have originated in the Cotswolds during the 18th century and the tune we sing today was recorded by folk music collector Cecil Sharp from a performance by Mrs Mary Clayton of Chipping Campden in 1909.

Very pretty and burns well and evenly but slowly. I suggest lighting pre Dec 1st if you only have limited time for it to be alight.
