Delightful pair of resin hedgehog ornaments draws inspiration from the 16th-century watercolour studies by Hans Hoffmann, a notable artist of his time. Hoffmann, born in Nuremberg around 1545, was renowned for his highly detailed and lifelike depictions of animals and plants. His work, including a particularly endearing study of a hedgehog, came into focus during the second half of the sixteenth century when the detailed study and portrayal of flora and fauna were gaining prominence. Placed among borders or tucked at the edge of a pathway, these ornaments bring a gentle presence to the garden and make a thoughtful gift for any gardener.
