Show your love for this bumblebee with a heart in its centre by giving it a central spot in your garden. Our Bumblebee Plaque is antique brown made with aged iron and any natural weathering that occurs only increases its charm. There is an abundance of history associated with our favourite garden visitor. Charles Darwin made several studies of the Bumble Bees or Humble Bees as they were then known. They were given this name because of the humming sound they make when they fly. In the first edition of "On the Origin of the Species" by Darwin (1859), with the help of 5 or 6 of his children, he recorded observations on the flight routes of male Humble Bees.

Bumblebee Plaque
Ok item. Not the quality I would have expected and packaging awful not good enough for a gift. As ok for a sale wouldn't wish to have paid full price.

Bumblebee Plaque
The bee is quirky and unusual. I bought two - one for my son and one for my son-in-law

Beautiful and looks good on my north facing wall as a decorative item of interest.

I know this was sold as natural rusted finish, but having received it I will definitely paint it. Still pleased with the overall item.

Looks good, but quality not as good as expected. A little flimsy. Ok for an indoor decoration
