Art Nouveau Fluted Iris Vase is an elegant and refined decoration in fine porcelain, featuring a beautifully painted floral design with raised detailing. This porcelain fluted vase echoes the unrivalled stylised Art Nouveau ceramics produced by potteries such as James Macintyre & Co., decorated with the Iris, a popular motif of the period. The art pottery studio's Chief Designer William produced the highly successful line of 'Florian Ware' which won the gold medal for innovation at the St. Louis International Exhibition in 1904.
