Charming mug, coaster and spoon set reproducing 'The Blossoming Almond Tree', one of Vincent Van Gogh’s (1853-1890) most recognised paintings. Van Gogh painted it in 1890 in Saint-Remy where he favoured the warmth and brighter light. Given that they blossom early in the spring, almond trees are symbols of new life, an apt subject matter for the paintings recipients as the artist painted it as a gift for his brother Theo and his wife after the birth of their son.
