Set of four China mugs decorated with details from a series of woodblocks by Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849), Japanese artist, ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. Hokusai is best known for his 'Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji', produced between 1830-32 when the artist was at the height of his career. This woodblock print series depicts majestic views of Mount Fuji from different locations and in various seasons, including the internationally iconic print: The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

Like the Hocosai woodcut design. Mugs comfortable to hold and well balanced. I can put them in the dishwasher. I will probably buy another set after Christmas.
