From graceful ‘Rosehips & Hellebores’, by Pat Harby (1936-88) to full-blown ‘Summertime’ by Edith Hilder (1904-92) and frothy ‘Summer Impressions’ by Gerhard Nesvadba (b.1941); through to the warm tones of chrysanthemums and Michaelmas daisies in ‘Autumn Arrangement’, by Leslie Greenwood (1907-87) and ‘Dahlias, Anemones and Gladiolus’, by Pamela Davis (1927-2019). Reproducing paintings and illustrations from the archives of Royle Publications, one of Britain’s leading greetings card companies of the post-war era; Royle Publications was co-founded by the visionary publisher Noel Carrington (1895-1989).
