Hey Aaron,
This is amazing. I'm so pleased that your new mattress has you super comfy.
I'm sorry it gets too hot. The Geltex should stop this from happening.
Sometimes mattresses can feel warm if there isn't enough airflow. placing the mattress on a slatted base would help with this. Also using cotton bedding can help things to feel cooler. There's also the option to add a cooling mattress topper.

It's good to hear that your mattress has a great level of support.
It's not great that your mattress is heavy and hot to sleep on. The heat of your mattress can be massively impacted by airflow in the room. We'd advise trying cotton bedding and putting the mattress on a slatted bed frame to allow air to flow up and through your mattress. Also, regular turning can help with the heat.
