the logs were wrapped around but not over the top, shame as it was raining when they arrived.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, covering the top of the crates causes condensation to build up within the crate which of course is undesirable. The logs are kept undercover throughout the delivery process until they leave our vehicle. A bin bag or similar is all that is required on arrival to cover the logs should you not be moving them to store straightaway.
