The S-MX 6 boot provides a high modulus TPU injected shin guard, calf protector, heel counter, shift pad, lateral ankle brace, and double-density ankle protector on the medial side layered under the upper. An integrated, replaceable bi-injected TPU slider features a new easy screw-fixing concept, and Alpinestars Innovative instep and Achilles accordion flex zone construction give superior comfort, control and support. The internal insole with the shank reinforcement is integrated to support the arch area. Internal toe box protection is layered under the upper. A waterproof lining keeps your feet dry and comfortable, while air vents on the heel counter, shin plate, and breathable mesh inserts promote superior air circulation. The medial side entry opening/closure system features an elastic-mounted zip with a wide Velcro closure tab that locks the zip pulls closed, keeping it flat and secure. The wide opening aperture gives easy entry and exit. The collar lining is made with textile for superior comfort, and the removable anatomic footbed includes EVA and Lycra for comfort and support.
