However, I apologise for any confusion regarding the V5 registration document and the vehicle taxation process. To clarify, we did have the V5 document when you purchased the car, and there was no need to fill in a V62 form. Understanding the importance of having the car taxed immediately, we took the initiative to tax the vehicle for you for six months at no extra charge. The logbook was sent off to the DVLA at the same time to update the records under your name. We hope this arrangement will prevent any inconvenience regarding your holiday plans. If there are still any issues or anything further we can assist you with, please let us know. We are committed to resolving any outstanding concerns promptly.
