We’re truly sorry to have discovered that you were left disappointed with the Lacy Fun Time Dress, as this is of course the last type of feedback that we wish to learn of from customers following the receipt of items purchased from Joe Browns, so please accept our sincere apologies for the dissatisfaction that you’ve evidently felt as a result of the matter at hand. It's disappointing for us too (to hear of the quality issues that you've noticed), as we hate to think of ourselves as a supplier of poorly made goods because there’s a lot of work goes into ensuring the quality of the items that you receive from us is up to expectations. In fact - despite the overall relatively small team that works here at Joe Browns - we now employ a full team of in-house garment technologists. Please rest assured that we do take such matters very seriously indeed, as well as that we do all that we can to ensure that the quality of the goods that you receive from Joe Browns is as it should be, hence we’re disappointed to have found that you weren’t left entirely satisfied with your dress. We do, however, greatly value customer feedback and so your comments have been noted and passed to the relevant people within the team.
With regards to the sizing of the our products, all of the items that we sell are trialed on live people during a sample stage prior to be being manufactured in bulk, and garments are then refitted once the bulk stock has been manufactured, which allows us to ensure that the sizes are accurate, and there's a vast amount of time and effort that goes into the production and fitting of our goods. Due to the variations between retailers, however, as well as the fact that there is no standardised UK sizing specification for retailers, and because of how items will vary in size depending on whether they are intended to have more of a fitted look or be a more relaxed fit some items can occasionally involve a little trial and error in order to find the right fit. Nevertheless we appreciate what you have written about just how inaccurate the size of the dress that you have received appear to be, so please accept our sincere apologies for the dissatisfaction that you clearly felt with the goods in question.
