There appeared to be a slight communication problem between Jersey Travel and the Hotel de France but given I booked the hotel the day before travelling I can understand why this may have happened....
Thank you for taking time to complete our feedback questionnaire.We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the standard of accommodation and services at the Mayfair Hotel.The Hotel is undergoing a refurbishment programme wth many of the rooms being upgraded, as your booking was made at the last minute it is possible that the only rooms available were of the old style.The Hotel does not feature air conditioned rooms and unfortunately as this is a town Hotel some noise may be expected. The Hotel is within about 10 mins walking distance to the town centre as advertised within our brochure.Your comments with regard to menu choice and pool cleanliness have been forwarded to the Hotel. If you should wish to return to Jersey in the future I am confident that we will be able to find a Hotel that will be of higher standard for you.
