Thank you for your feedback on this product. Merino is a natural fibre so we do recommend hand washing which will help prevent the bobbling and laying flat to dry will help keep its shape. We have not heard about this problem happening from any other customers and have been obtaining merino products from the same supplier for many years, so this seems unusual and we would like to inspect the jacket. We shall be pleased to exchange the product if you wish or alternatively we will provide a full refund if you prefer. We will send a free returns label to enable you to return the product to us.
