Hi Nicola, Due to the sale of the home you originally booked pre-covid we had to move your booking in to an alternative villa about six months ago. After 2 years of having very few bookings, and a booming sales market quite a few of our owners have decided to sell their villas. This requires the cancellation of all booking’s post the date of sale. Consequently, we’ve had to move many clients in to other homes for their vacations but always try to let them know we have done so. Unfortunately, we neglected to inform you of this change and for this I sincerely apologise. The rental market is extremely busy, and this has at times been a challenge as rental prices have also increased quite substantially since the lifting of travel restrictions. The only villa available for your dates had 3 bathrooms, but the rental price was more than you were originally quoted. As we knew you had already booked your flights, we decided to absorb that cost ourselves, but am very sorry about the inconvenience caused. Also please be aware that the home you had originally booked was unique in having 5 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms.
