Hi, Thank you so much for for leaving a 5 star review. Its lovely to hear you are pleased with your Red Escallonia and your Oleaster and I hope they are enjoying their new home. Oleaster have dark green leaves and as the plants mature silver speckles will appear on the leaves, and they will also have a rougher texture when you touch them. Your plants will have creamy/white flowers in autumn, and then orange fruits will push through in spring to feed hungry birds. And Escallonia are gorgeous evergreen hedge plants that during the months of June to October produce masses of red flowers. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Beech looks wonderful all year round. In autumn the leaves turn brown when the plants become dormant for the winter. The plants hold onto these leaves and now the growing season has begun lots of healthy green leaves will have pushed through. From May onwards they will produce flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. And Pyracantha are lush evergreen plants that during autumn produce masses of red berries that will attract hungry birds. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Holly is a slow growing evergreen species. Hopefully, you have a good mixture of male and female plants, which will ensure the female plants produce lots of berries in winter for you and these berries will attract lots of hungry birds. And Box is a slow growing evergreen plant, 🌿 so they are perfect for neat border hedges as they are incredibly easy to maintain. Flowering Currant is a deciduous plant but is a good sign of the impending Spring as the striking crimson coloured flowers appear well in advance of the leaves. The flowers smell amazing and will attract lot of butterflies and bees and edible blue/black fruits in autumn will feed hungry birds. The Leylandii is an extremely fast growing, evergreen conifer hedge 🌲, that can grow up to 90cm per year and are perfect for extra privacy and screening. And your Cherry Laurels will knit together to create a beautiful dense evergreen hedge. During the spring they produce tiny white flowers that are popular with butterflies and bees and during winter they produce small red berries that hungry birds love. Portuguese Laurel is a beautiful evergreen plant that has glossy green leaves all year round. The small delicate flowers that bloom in the summer are extremely popular with butterflies and bees. Holly is a slow growing evergreen species. Hopefully, you have a mixture of male and female plants, which will ensure the female plants produce lots of berries in winter for you and these berries will attract lots of hungry birds. Western Red Cedar is a beautiful evergreen conifer It has dense foliage and the foliage is also aromatic and when crushed gives off a sweet fragrance. And Hawthorn is a native, deciduous species, so your plants will have lost their leaves during winter, but will now be in full leaf and will have flowered and will eventually produce berries. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon.
