A larger variety of Pieris but extremely colourful, the young foliage is bright red, fading to pink, cream and then finally green as it ages. In spring, pretty and abundant clusters of cream bell-shaped flowers reminiscent of Lily-of-the-valley adorn the branches. A lovely shrub to add year-round colour to the garden.
