Thank you for your feedback. All of our turf is grown in the Vale of York and is harvested to order. Sadly, we have had very little meaningful rainfall in the last few weeks. This is having an effect on the appearance of the rolls leading them to look paler and drier. We do irrigate the fields but this is no real replacement for natural rainfall. The production team are regularly monitoring the fields and will not harvest or send out turf that they do not believe, with their many years experience, will grow as expected once established in our customers gardens. Dry turf would not have an impact in the overall appearance of the lawn once it has started to establish. With regular watering at the point of laying, dry turf will establish the same as any other turf laid on the same day. I hope your turf is establishing well but if you have any concerns please don't hesitate to get in touch.
