Sorry to here the length of time its taken to leave feed back for Halesowen Self Drive. We would like to leave some feed back to what you have said about the company.
Firstly, the only criminal here was your self by driving the vehicle uninsured as the vehicle was rented/hire to your partner only.
The £250 deposit that was taken from your self is one of the costs that incurred due to this incident. Along side with the costs to repair it's self, is also the time the vehicle if off the road which is a minimum of three days hire to repair is a loss of £190 for this time period for the company while the van is off the road. The damage "dent" was considerably more than 20cm when removed from the side of the building.
For your discretion and after numerous amount of phone calls with out answer, we were unable to send the invoice.
we have a range of vehicles from 13 plate to 67 plate, all serviced and checked daily, all RAC cover to avoid any mishaps when on hire, so i'm not sure what is meant by "old,tatty vans"

Guilty as charged but I did explain the misunderstanding about driving instead of my husband.
However you know you overcharged for that repair.
I would love to see.evidence of these phone calls you mention. I did get back to you and you emailed back to say you only wanted to confirm the address so you could send my receipt.
Never received the receipt.
You also never explained why I wasn't sent Feefo link despite both me and Feefo chasing this. Smells fishy to me.
I am not the only reviewer who feels your excess and deposit witholding rules are arbitrary. Enough said!

Poor condition van
Friendly service. But the Luton van I hired was in extremely poor condition, brake warning light on the dash, 180,000 miles. £500 excess! I doubt the van was worth that much! £100 for a days hire...
