Thank you for your feedback and for being a returning customer of our Premium Professional Lumpwood Charcoal. We're pleased to hear that you've been satisfied with the product on previous occasions, which makes it particularly disappointing to learn that this batch did not meet your expectations. Our Premium Professional Lumpwood is a dense hardwood charcoal selected for its high heat output, long burn time and traditional BBQ flavour. We also extra grade it to a 40mm+ specification to provide a good proportion of larger cooking pieces. However, as a natural product, some variation can occur and handling during packing and transport can sometimes increase the amount of smaller pieces and fines. We appreciate your comments and will feed them back to our quality team. Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear you were happy with the charcoal itself, but we're sorry that the delivery experience fell short of expectations. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive mixed delivery communications and have the order arrive over two separate days. Occasionally, when an order is shipped in multiple outer cartons, courier networks can separate the parcels in transit, resulting in split deliveries. Whilst this is outside of our direct control, we appreciate that it can be inconvenient and the communication from the courier should have been clearer. Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This is certainly not the standard we expect from our products. As a natural hardwood charcoal product, there can be some variation in lump size during transit and handling, however excessive small pieces and dust are not acceptable and we understand your disappointment, especially when purchasing in larger quantities.
