Thank you for your review. I do apologise for your feelings. There are times when availability is a challenge. Availability is live therefore it is always changing. Your arrangements were verbally confirmed by the hotel and subsequently your golfbreaks.com consultant sent the booking arrangements through to the hotel based on the verbal confirmation provided. Prior to the hotel confirming back the written confirmation they applied what is called a stop sale. A stop sale is a term in the hotel industry used when the hotel has reached their threshold of offering free sale accommodation. This allows the hotel to sell the remaining rooms in the inventory at their premium rate due to the limited availability vs. demand.
I am happy to learn your consultant provided you with alternatives. I do apologise you feel the hotel was not to your liking. The hotel offered is a fantastic 4* all-inclusive option in Alvor.
