Fits Ideal Standard Sv21267 Quiet Ballvalve Diaphragm AssyPRODUCT FEATURESNOTE: There are two very similar washers/diaphragms which are difficult to tell apart from photographs. Ignore the colour of the central pin in your current diaphragm, it is purely incidental as the manufacturer has changed the colour a number of times. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ORDER THE CORRECT ONE FOR YOUR VALVE AS PER ADVICE BELOW;This diaphragm/washer suits the older model inlet valves with screw caps, often likened to compression joints where you have to unscrew the top to get to the washerPlease note insert colour may vary. All red, red & white or all white, this indicates year of manufacture and has no effect of the function of the washerSize 32mm (1-1/4")Please study all pictures carefully to make sure you are buying the correct washer. Another thing to check is to turn your old diaphragm over to look at the bottom. The diaphragm for the old valve (this listing) has one outer rim whereas when you look at the bottom of the diaphragm for the new valve it has an additional inner rim too. Check out the listing of the new version (photo 2) here and you will see what we mean.If requiring the newer diaphragm/washer which suits the newer 'Twist lock' inlet valve; that requires a 45 degree turn to twist off the connection to see the diaphragm (possibly your existing old diaphragm has 18 little ridges pressed into the rubber but just to confuse things the replacement diaphragm is no longer manufactured with the ridges) then please go our listing FTB2654 here.FTB896
This part (and all associated fill valves) were withdrawn from sale from Ideal Standard approximately four years ago. This replacement, in our experience, fits about 85% of the old Ideal Standard/Armitage Shanks fill valves. There is no way we can identify whether this new diaphragm washer will solve the leak as the old fill valves were manufactured by several different companies on behalf of Ideal Standard over a 10 year period.
Unfortunately if this washer doesn't solve your problem, you will need to purchase a new fill valve which can be found on our website as FTB909, FTB910 or FTB911 depending on the cistern you have.
Kind regards
