We do apologise for the delay in the collection of your order, which was requested on 5th June, and has been followed up by us several times. Unfortunately the installation of a new admin/stock system by our supplier has caused some hiccups in collections and we hope these issues will be resolved shortly and that the goods can then be refunded. We are disappointed that you have not benefited from the level of service Fendow is normally able to offer. We understand that there was no problem at all with the pole set you received but that it did not meet your requirements.

The Strand 35mm metal poles are top quality products, but they are only suitable for curtains with 50mm eyelets, or when used with metal rings.We do try to explain on the product page on our site that although some smaller eyelets may fit over the pole, they will not be satisfactory.They need to be 50mm in order to function well.With smaller eyelets the ‘O’ of the eyelet becomes oval as it draws across the pole, and the metal edges then catch against the sides and damage the pole as the curtains are drawn open and shut.Eyelet liners do help to protect the pole, and these are available in 50mm and 40mm only.
