Rhonda, Unfortunately, we're governed by the hotels specific change and cancellation policies which are displayed on the hotel pages on our site. The change and cancellation policies are the hotel's policies, not Expedia's policies. The rules and restrictions associated with non-refundable/non-cancellation room rates are usually strict given the preferential pricing for these rate plans. Free Cancellation & Non-Refundable Rate Plans are standard practice for hotel bookings, and we pride ourselves on the transparency of these policies on our site. Apologies.. In your reply to me you state that the cancellation policy is the hotel's policies and not Expedia's. I find that amusing because when I asked the hotel about cancelling my room that told me the complete opposite. They said it was Expedia's policies and not the hotel. Always nice to blame the other guy.
