Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, following your cruise aboard La Belle Epoque. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed so many aspects of your cruise, from the exceptional service provided by our staff and the restaurant-quality cuisine to the immaculate barge environment. It’s also wonderful to know that the cycling and walking opportunities, as well as memorable moments like lunch with the Baroness at the Château de Ricey-Bas, were highlights of your journey!
We are, however, sorry to learn that certain elements fell short of your expectations. Your feedback has been carefully noted and will help us refine our guest experience. Unfortunately, the Count is unwell, which prevented him from meeting the group on the day of your visit to the Château de Commarin.
We also appreciate your comments regarding your interaction with the company owner during dinner. As part of our commitment to maintaining high standards, he endeavours to dine on board each barge at least once per season. While he was pleased to hear the group’s positive feedback overall, your suggestions for improvement have been taken seriously and have already been reviewed.
Regarding your preference to join the barge at the river rather than in Paris, we understand that this was raised at the time of enquiry. It is usually possible to join the barge at the mooring by advance arrangement, however, a Paris pick-up was confirmed to us by the lead booker closer to the cruise.
