The semi automatic Rivelia contains one thermoblock boiler which means you deliver your coffee at one temperature then increase the boiler temperature to be able to steam your milk. If you are steaming a lot of milk this will speed up the process of descaling as you are using more water to turn into steam have you ensured your machine it programmed to your correct water hardness area ? When descaling its always best to use an additional tray to collect all the water.
