Love the design/ look of the kettle, noisier than my last De'Longh one and the water level is difficult to see on the gauge. However don't regret buying it.
When boiled red hot water spray out when filling cup, very poor design

Good Morning,
Thank you for you recent Feefo.
If water is coming out of your kettle when boiling, it's likely due to overfilling, or a build-up of limescale. Check if you've exceeded the max fill line and allow the water to settle for 10 seconds before pouring. Additionally, ensure the filter is properly in place.

Very disappointed in this kettle. I find it really hard getting the lid on and off. An elderly person wouldn’t be able to do it. If I had a choice I would not buy it again

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with Delonghi.
The lid on your kettle should be firmly secured for safety reasons. However, if you find the lid is very difficult to remove the small tabs around the edge of the lid can be adjusted slightly to enable a better fit.

I’m shocked I wanted this kettle so much. I have only owned this for a couple of months now and already when I start to boil the kettle it makes a high pitch noise like it’s about to explode! I wish...

Good Morning,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Delonghi.
Hard water contains high levels of minerals like calcium and magnesium, which can form a scale build up on the inside of the kettle, as the water heats, tiny bubbles form on the heating element and then rise and cool, causing them to collapse. The collapsing bubbles, especially when the scale is breaking off, can create a popping or crackling sound.
Also the noise level is determined by the power rating, the body material and the shape. A 3KW kettle in stainless steel will always have a noisier operation than a low power plastic type.
I hope this has been able to help answer your question but should you require any further support our customer care team can be reached via the link below.
